​Ami, born raised from Stamford, Connecticut, moved to Arizona in 2015 looking for a new adventure. Ami changed her career field of criminal justice and decided to finally pursue her true passion in hair, working toward her cosmetology license.  

Once obtaining her license she joined Urban Bloom to become a curly hair specialist. So far curly hair has been her favorite adventure. Ever since a little girl, Ami’s been on the pursuit of learning how to manage the art of curls. Having curls herself, she understands the need for a true curl specialist. Ami has completed training with Urban Bloom as a curly hair specialist for all curl types using the dry cutting technique. 

She is more then equipped and ready to start building strong connections with her clients and helping them express their beautiful personalities through their curls.

Victoria

​Vicky has always loved all things beauty, it wasn’t until college that she decided to switch paths and pursue Cosmetology. Growing up being the only one with curls in her family, she understands the struggle and wants everyone to be able to embrace their curls! Being trained by Priscilla and our Urban Bloom team, Vicky has learned how to work with multiple different textures. With the knowledge learned at Urban Bloom, Vicky is excited to help you through your Curl Journey!

Laila

​Laila has always been drawn to curls from a young age. After her very first curly cut, she knew she wanted to help others feel the same love for their own hair. After beauty school, Laila dedicated a full year of training in curly hair to perfect her specialty. Now that she’s trained alongside Priscilla, she’s ready to teach you all about curl care! This passionate young stylist knows that she can confidently help anyone fall in love with their curls.

Ashley

Ashley was born with a love and passion for all things beauty. She began exploring her passion and fell in love with the art of making people feel beautiful and having her clients glow from the inside out. She went on to pursue a career in the hair community. Coming into a salon thinking she had straight hair, Urban Bloom helped Ashley discover that her hair was in fact wavy and she began her very own curly hair journey. With her first wavy cut her hair bloomed and with consistent care, her true pattern continues to come to life. With the help of Priscilla and the girls at Urban Bloom, she’s learned all things curls. Ashley is very passionate about all textures and is so excited to meet you and your curly needs!

Marlene

Along with her passion for art & music Marlene has always had love for curls!! Over the passed few years she’s learned to love and embrace her curls in the healthiest ways possible! Being trained by Priscilla has really opened a door of new techniques & styles, this has been so amusing for Marlene which makes her want to share it with all the curly heads! Being on a curly journey herself, Marlene has gained trial and error experiences, which has led her to gain so much knowledge throughout the process. Helping people boost their confidence & helping them bring their curls to life has been such a beautiful experience for Marlene & she can’t wait to continue to grow and learn along with all the other curly beauties!

Haley

Haley has aways had a passion for the beauty industry, but it wasn’t till 2020 when she finally decided to make it her career. She loved the idea of helping others feel beautiful ! She herself had gone on her own curl journey and now has the passion to lead others to embrace their curls. She loves sharing all the tips and tricks she has learning while working at urban bloom. She continues to grow each day at our salon and is excited to embark on this new journey.

Joy

Joy has always loved all things beauty ever since she was a little girl! After receiving her cosmetology license over seven years ago and then soon starting her own natural curl journey, she soon found her true passion. Not seeing many curly girls that looked like her led to her wanting to inspire and empower others to embrace their natural texture. Perfecting her craft and learning new techniques is something that further fuels her drive to master the art of curls. She has continued curl education at Urban Bloom alongside Priscilla.

Luna

Luna, also known by Clenae, was born in LA but raised here in Mesa. She has always found love in the beauty industry starting at a young age watching her mom and grandma work as a hairstylist. Coming from Native American roots, she didn’t have many around her to teach her about her curls. It wasn’t until after high school, when she began her curl journey. Working at Urban Bloom, and being trained by Priscilla, has given her knowledge and experience to work with different textures of curls and waves. She wants to guide others on their path to grow, learn, and love their curls. Her artistic eye and love for her craft is obvious upon meeting Luna. She is ready to start meeting all you wonderful curly girls and gents on this journey.

​Hey my name is Olivia! I’m going on my 5th year as a cosmetologist. I love cutting curly hair! I also love hand painted highlights for a more natural sun kissed look! I’ve been in Arizona for 3 years now. I’m a Midwest girly born and raised! But am falling in love with the desert more and more each year! I can’t wait to do your hair!

Riley’s passion for curls comes from a deeply personal place— her own journey with curly hair. After navigating the lack of education around curls, she found her calling to embrace their natural texture. At Urban Bloom Riley is dedicated to giving her clients the knowledge and confidence to own their curls and style. Her goal is to inspire others on their own curl journey while embracing the beauty of curly hair!
